We’ve done it! The HerzogsPark Hotel is a member of an exclusive group of Bavarian hotels and restaurants demonstrably committed to the environment. For years we have made our mark on efforts to protect the earth with United Against Waste. Everyone at heart has an interest in a responsible interaction with the earth and its resources, so we operate daily by the maxim, ‘environmental protection from A to Z, from A as in „Abfallreduktion“ (reducing waste) to Z as in „zertifizierte Biolebensmittel“ (certified organic food). We value and apply sustainability in all aspects of the hotel. Our active environmental policy even increases comfort and enjoyment, as well. Experience this, for example, in the Restaurant Stüberl. Chef Marco Hollbauer will delight and convince your taste buds with fresh regional products. We are proud to be a member of the Environmental Pact in Bavaria.

Herzogenaurach. Honey and jam in glass bowls instead of individual packaging at the breakfast buffet: For years, the HerzogsPark Hotel in Herzogenaurach has attached importance to a fair and environmentally friendly business culture for guests and employees. During the company visit of District Administrator Alexander Tritthart and Herzogenaurach's Mayor Dr. German Hacker, Michael Bläser, Managing Director of Hotel HerzogsPark, presented his sustainable hotel philosophy to them.
More environmental protection in hotels and restaurants
Together with his team, Managing Director Bläser sets an example every day for more environmental protection in the hotel and catering industry. All areas of the hotel are organised according to ecological standards, from "waste reduction" to "energy-efficient kitchen appliances and charging stations" to "certified organic food". Chef Marco Hollbauer also impresses in the Stüberl restaurant with fresh regional products.
Thinking of others
For his commitment, Michael Bläser has now received the certificate of participation in the Bavarian Environmental Pact from District Administrator Alexander Tritthart. With its corporate environmental protection, the hotel wants to make climate-neutral overnight stays possible: "If our guests feel good and unconsciously save energy in the process, we are setting a good example". For four years, his hotel has also been participating in the initiative against food waste "United Against Waste".
